The Air Jordan 1, which Michael first put on more than thirty years ago, is now one of the most popular silhouettes among sneakerheads. But the beginnings weren't exactly easy. In 1985, the most famous basketball player in history was banned from wearing Jordan 1 shoes because they didn't meet the prescribed game dress code, according to the NBA . New era, new Jordans

Time moved on, and as the years passed, so did more Jordan shoes. After the legendary 1s came the 2s, then the 3s, and by 2000 the number of new silhouettes had climbed to 15. Today, there are many more, and more models are still being added. However, even though these are far from being some worthless pieces, the glory of their first retro models is hardly matched by the new Jordan shoes aka Jordans .
