UGG Lowmel Western
Most people associate the UGG brand with soft sheepskin, but the men's sneakers UGG Lowmel Western show that the Californian company also knows how to create a casual shoe for everyday wear. The Lowmel Western model in the warm Burnt Cedar shade has an earthy and slightly rugged vibe, giving it a distinct character, yet you can effortlessly pair it with anything in your wardrobe. If you're looking for men's shoes that won't look like the ones you see on every corner, these are worth your attention.
The upper combines leather and suede. The leather provides durability and shape retention, while the suede offers a velvety surface that develops a unique look over time. The low cut leaves the ankle free and gives the shoe a clean, relaxed line. The sturdy rubber outsole can handle pavement, sidewalks, and weekend trips out of town. The Burnt Cedar shade pairs nicely with straight jeans, beige chinos, or an olive overshirt, making them suitable for the city as well as hanging out with friends. UGG was founded in 1978 by Australian surfer Brian Smith in California, where he brought sheepskin boots, turning a small project into a globally recognized brand. You can find the UGG Lowmel Western model at Footshop.
UGG Lowmel
UGG Lowmel - stylish sneakers with UGG comfort
The UGG Lowmel is a modern sneaker that takes the best of Californian retro style and adds the typical UGG softness. The upper combines premium suede with breathable textile/mesh panels, making the boot feel luxurious, yet lightweight and well-ventilated for all-day wear.
The interior is complemented by a soft UGGplush lining that enhances comfort and gives the sneaker the cozy feel the brand is known for.
Cushioning is provided by the moulded insole and flexible Sugarcane EVA outsole, which makes the Lowmel extra lightweight, soft to the touch and able to handle long walks around town and travel.
A striking detail is the two-tone chunky laces, which can be worn loose and untied for a relaxed sneaker look.
The Lowmel fits perfectly with baggy jeans, cargo pants and sweatpants and will easily fit into a streetwear wardrobe. At Footshop, you'll find only genuine UGG Lowmel in carefully selected colours and sizes. For longer life, we recommend that you impregnate the suede before first wearing, clean dirt with a suede brush and let the boots dry naturally away from heat sources.

Materials
UGG Rollers. A dirty word to some, the best winter boots in the world to others. The UGG brand has literally divided the world into two camps. How did it do it? In 1978 in California, Australian Brian Smith noticed that surfers were quickly putting on the iconic surf boots after getting out of the water to warm up from the icy ocean. One day he discovered that it might actually make a good (not just) winter shoe if made from merino wool. In fact, sheepskin and wool were commonly used in Australia to make boots because of their thermal insulation properties - cooling in the summer, warming in the winter, as well as absorbing odours and moisture. So Brian used his knowledge from his homeland; he discovered that no one in the world made such shoes, so he set to work. UGG Boots became very popular. But their biggest boom came when Oprah Winfrey included them in her list of favourite things and suddenly the whole world had to have them, including stars like Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Gigi Hadid. Since a certain time UGG doesn't only make roller shoes anymore, but also makes slippers, sandals and has wandered into the apparel waters. They try to make the collections creative, trendy, also focusing on quality workmanship and the right choice of materials. So if you're not a fan of roller shoes, there are other pieces that will make a great addition to your shoe closet.
It's also worth mentioning that UGG makes their collections of shoes and clothing with respect for their employees and our planet. In 2016, the brand also joined the United Nations Global Compact, ranked as the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. What does this mean? All members strive to promote changes in business to minimize the environmental impact of production. This is something we're a fan of and we're delighted to have another brand in Footshop for whom sustainability and environmentalism is not just a buzzword.
