Birko-Flor®: High-quality, skin-friendly and durable synthetic material that has been developed specifically for the Birkenstock brand. It consists of two layers: the top layer is made of hygienic PVC, which is easy to maintain and tear-resistant, while the bottom layer is made of soft, breathable fleece. This combination makes the material very comfortable, does not cause blisters and is pleasant to the touch even when worn on bare skin for long periods of time. Birko-Flor® is popular for its durability and its ability to faithfully imitate the look of leather, whether smooth or nubuck.
