KEEN Jasper: An Icon of Urban Outdoor with a Climbing Soul

The KEEN Jasper model represents a unique blend of climbing approach shoe design and the comfort of modern casual footwear. This silhouette has become iconic due to its unmistakable look, combining outdoor functionality with the aesthetics of the Urban Outdoor trend. It's the perfect choice for those seeking extremely durable footwear with an adventurous spirit that won't get lost on a forest path or in the dynamic environment of the city.

Stability-Focused Construction and Precise Fit

The main technical feature of the Jasper model is a specific lacing system extended to the toe (Lace-to-toe). This element, inspired by professional climbing shoes, allows for precise tightening along the entire length of the shoe and perfect individual adaptation to the shape of the foot. The upper is made from high-quality suede leather sourced from certified tanneries LWG, which prioritize environmentally sustainable manufacturing processes. The inner breathable lining effectively wicks moisture, ensuring optimal climate inside the shoe even during all-day wear in the summer months.

Technologies for Comfort and Longevity

Protection for the toes against mechanical damage is provided by the iconic rubber toe cap, significantly extending the shoe's lifespan in challenging conditions. Inside, there's an anatomically shaped and removable polyurethane insole that offers long-lasting cushioning and necessary arch support. The Eco Anti-Odor technology uses natural probiotics to eliminate odors without harmful chemicals. Overall comfort is enhanced by a low-profile rubber outsole with excellent traction that leaves no marks (non-marking) and reliably grips both paved and natural surfaces.

Materials

TechnologyEco Anti-OdorEco Anti-OdorNatural technology designed to eliminate unpleasant odours without the use of harmful chemicals and heavy metals. Unlike conventional antibacterial treatments that often use pesticides or silver, this technology harnesses the power of probiotics. Beneficial microorganisms are embedded in the insole or lining material, which are activated on contact with sweat and naturally break down odor-causing bacteria. The result is long-lasting freshness of the footwear even with intensive wear. This method is safe for the skin, does not cause allergic reactions and is environmentally friendly as it does not release toxic substances into the environment when washed or worn. / Contoured FitContoured FitA term for an anatomically shaped cut that is designed to closely follow the natural curves of the human body or foot. In the case of footwear, this means that the shoe respects the anatomy of the foot, providing ample room for the toes, while at the same time firmly and securely fixing the heel and instep. This design minimises unwanted friction and blistering, as the shoe 'interacts' with the foot with every step. For clothing, this cut ensures that the material fits snugly to the body where it is needed without restricting freedom of movement. The result is a feeling of maximum comfort, improved stability and a natural stance throughout the day.
UpperSuedeSuedeLeather with a characteristic brushed finish and a soft, velvety texture. Unlike smooth leather, it is produced from the inside of the leather, which gives the material an unmistakable softness and suppleness. The main advantages of suede footwear include high breathability and the ability to adapt quickly to the anatomical shape of the foot, making the shoes comfortable from the first wear. Suede stands out for its depth of colour and gives the shoes a premium look. In order for the material to retain its properties and beauty, regular impregnation is recommended to ensure protection against moisture and dirt.
SoleRubberRubberThe rubber sole is a traditional and highly reliable element in the construction of footwear, valued especially for its extreme mechanical resistance and grip. This contact layer is made of natural or synthetic rubber, which is characterized by its high density and elasticity. Due to its physical properties, it provides excellent traction on a wide range of surfaces, from smooth asphalt to unpaved terrain. In addition, the rubber is naturally waterproof and resistant to temperature fluctuations, ensuring stability and a secure stride in a variety of climatic conditions.

KEEN

Keen is an American brand that since 2003 has become famous for its unmistakable closed-toe sandals, ideal for outdoor adventures and urban comfort. It was founded in Portland and from the very beginning has placed an emphasis on functionality, comfort and sustainability - for example by using recycled materials and eco-friendly manufacturing processes. A typical hallmark is the massive rubber toe protection that makes Keen sandals able to handle terrain, water and everyday wear. What's more, Keen isn't just about shoes. The brand is actively involved in charity projects and nature conservation. And while its fans don't necessarily include Hollywood stars, you'll often see them on the feet of mountain guides, environmental activists and weekend adventurers who know that style and function can go hand in hand.
