Brooks Ghost AMP
The American brand Brooks has been focused solely on running for many years, and the model Ghost AMP is its answer for anyone looking for a soft landing and a desire to pick up the pace in men's running shoes. You can lace them up for regular kilometers around the city, and they won’t let you down when you decide to speed up. The colorway White/Blue/Paradise Green looks clean and adds a fresh vibe to every run.
The midsole with DNA HYPE foam offers high cushioning while returning energy for your push-off, so your legs will thank you even at the end of a longer training session. The SpringRamp shaping helps smoothly transition your step from landing to push-off, which is especially useful during tempo runs. The shoes are designed for a neutral foot strike and a standard width D, and the textile upper wraps your foot comfortably. The rubber outsole grips both the road and the treadmill, making them perfect for your daily training outdoors or in the gym. Brooks was founded in 1914 in Philadelphia and today develops footwear and gear exclusively for runners from its headquarters in Seattle.
Brooks Ghost AMP
Livelier, more fun, and lightweight daily trainer - Brooks Ghost AMP
Looking for a running shoe for your daily miles that combines the comfort of a classic trainer with the lightning-fast dynamics of racing shoes? Brooks Ghost AMP falls into the Footshop selection as an elevated daily trainer or non-plated uptempo trainer. It's the answer to the modern trend of lightweight, responsive trainers without plates, like the adidas Adizero Evo SL, New Balance Rebel, or Puma Deviate Pure. A shoe that fits the vast majority of runners perfectly and energizes your training without compromising on stability and support.
Technological Architecture: Hybrid Super Foam and Proven Fit
Brooks has blended the midsole material in the Ghost AMP to offer uncompromising lightness while still protecting your feet:
- New Hybrid DNA HYPE Foam: A unique blend combines racing PEBAX with training supercritical nitro EVA. The result is significantly lighter, livelier, and more responsive cushioning than traditional trainers, giving you energy with every push-off.
- Progressive Geometry with 6mm Drop: The lower 6mm drop supports a more natural transition from impact to push-off, giving the shoe a more aggressive training profile.
- Unmatched Upper of the Classic Ghost: The shoe relies on the traditional fit of the Ghost series, ensuring it fits 9 out of 10 feet perfectly without unnecessary pressure or slippage.
- Non-Plated Construction: By omitting a carbon or nylon plate, the shoe maintains natural flexibility, high stability, and prevents ankle fatigue at a relaxed pace.
Who is the Brooks Ghost AMP for and what runs is it suited for?
The Ghost AMP offers a great balance for a wide range of runners looking for a versatile silhouette:
- Everyday Training and Speed: It handles easy recovery runs perfectly, but unlike heavier trainers, it responds immediately when you decide to pick up the pace.
- Younger and Dynamic Runners: An ideal choice for those who don’t need an aggressive racing shoe but expect more “fun,” liveliness, and lightness from a training shoe.
- A Versatile Single Shoe in Your Closet: An excellent solution for runners seeking reliability on every training mile without the need to switch between several narrowly defined models.

Details
Brooks is a well-known brand specializing in running shoes. The brand was founded in 1914 by John Brooks Goldenburg and initially specialized in ballet slippers and bathing shoes. Over time, it expanded into making baseball cleats (which were also worn by Mickey Mantle!) and roller skates, and in the early 1970s it ventured into making running shoes. Global presence: Brooks has its worldwide headquarters in Seattle, right along the Burke-Gilman running and biking trail next to Lake Union. It also has a flagship retail store called Brooks Trailhead. Additionally, their gear is used by runners in over 50 countries, with a second home in Amsterdam. Brooks designs their equipment in the lab, but brings it to life on a human level. Their world-leading researchers study physiology and biomechanics to ensure that your every move is comfortable when wearing their equipment.
