Reebok Club C 85
The British brand Reebok introduced the Club C 85 model in 1985 as a tennis sneaker for the court, and these women's sneakers still maintain the same clean, low silhouette. Now you can wear them in a beige colorway that feels soft and light, pairing well with almost everything in your wardrobe. If you want to bring a retro vibe to your outfit without unnecessary embellishments, you’ll find it here in its most natural form.
The upper is made of suede, which has a pleasantly velvety surface and adds depth to the beige hue. The suede upper also softens with each wear, adapting better to your foot. The low cut keeps your ankle free, allowing for natural movement, while the rubber outsole provides reliable grip on city pavements and smooth office floors. You can pair the Club C 85 with straight jeans, wide trousers, or a midi skirt, and they look just as good with sweatpants and an oversized hoodie. Reebok's roots trace back to Bolton, England, where the Foster family produced running spikes in the late 19th century, and the sporting heritage from that era is still evident in its sneakers today.
Reebok Club C
Court aesthetics and minimalist tennis heritage - Reebok Club C
The Reebok Club C series represents one of the most important pillars of sneaker history in the Footshop range, taking the tennis courts of the 1980s and making them a universal symbol of pure urban style. The original name "Club Champion" accurately defined the ambitions of this silhouette, which redefined athletic footwear standards in 1985 with its low-profile construction and minimalist approach to branding. At Footshop, we see this range as an essential piece for any rotation, where vintage design meets uncompromising quality craftsmanship, making it the perfect choice for lovers of premium streetwear. The base of these sneakers is a high-quality suede leather that stands out for its softness and ability to adapt to the anatomy of the foot, while strategically placed perforations on the toe ensure efficient air circulation and thermal comfort even during all-day wear. The inner lining made of soft terry material refers to the functional heritage of tennis models, where moisture absorption and maximum comfort during intense movement on the court was a priority.
Structural integrity and timeless design for modern urbanism
The technological side of the Reebok Club C 85 or the more modern versions of the Club C Revenge relies on a proven construction with a stitched midsole that guarantees extreme mechanical resistance and long shoe life. The midsole, made up of injection-moulded EVA foam, provides lightweight and responsive cushioning that effectively absorbs shock when walking on hard urban surfaces, without detracting from the shoe's characteristic stability and ground contact. The outsole, made of highly abrasion-resistant rubber, features a specific pattern that was originally developed for maximum traction on tennis surfaces, giving you a secure grip on both asphalt and pavement today. For the community around Footshop, the Club C series is particularly appealing thanks to its clean colour palette, dominated by Vintage White and Classic Chalk White, allowing for endless possibilities to mix and match with technical trousers and classic denim. This series is proof that functional minimalism doesn't need aggressive technology to dominate the streets. If you're looking for iconic sneakers that carry on the legacy of sporting champions while offering uncompromising comfort backed by quality materials, the Reebok Club C is the obvious choice for your next upgrade.

J.W. Foster, the founder of Reebok, created the first studded running shoe (the predecessor of today's trainers) in 1895. Reebok shoes did not begin to be produced under their current name until many decades later, in 1958. The company's name was given by two of Foster's grandsons who found the word in an old Afrikaans dictionary. Its meaning was the naming of a species of antelope, symbolizing the speed and grace that a man running in a Reebok represents.
Reebok footwear gained its fame especially in the 1980s when aerobics was experiencing a huge boom. Women's Reebok shoes went on a tear back then, which helped all the other industries that Reebok was involved in. In the mid-1980s, the originally English company greatly expanded its sphere of influence overseas, and Reebok sneakers began to become a global phenomenon.
Retro models and combat sports
Despite the public's initial scepticism, Reebok shoes now play a strong role in streetwearculture outside of sport . The idea of resurrecting several retro models has contributed to this. These include the Reebok Daytona, Instapump Fury or Reebok Aztrek sneakers, which perfectly captured the retro trend of recent years. Reebok is now a subsidiary of German giant adidas, among others, and its current policy is to support sporting events around the world. Some of the most famous ones include the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). It is therefore no surprise that Conor McGregor has become the main face of the new Reebok Zig Kinetica.
But besides sneakers, you'll also findReeboksportswear and casual wear at Footshop. There are T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and slippers, so you can put together an entire outfit in either men's or women's versions. So explore our range and get the quality that's been proven for centuries.
