Valery, founded by David Nikolov when he was just 17, is a Czech streetwear brand built on upcycling. David studies design and fashion in Prostějov, where he, in his own words, ended up completely by accident. Another member of the Footshop Upcycling project is none other than designer Evžen Grygoriev. Originally from Ukraine, he moved to his family in Ostrava as a child. Evžen’s 21 and in his second year of studying at Baťa’s university in Zlín. Upcycling is a more and more discussed topic. It is transforming old or used products into new ones. A lot of  man-made materials do not biodegrade and harm the environment.
