Lucian is associated with Street art, experience customizing sneakers. He lives and actively creates in Bucharest.
How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as simple and at the same time complex.
Is a blend between book illustrations, spontaneous like Bebop, it has some mystical vibes and a touch of surrealism with a playful feel in it.
Most of your illustrations represent a fantastic world full of imaginary symbols and characters. Why? Does it have anything to do with your nickname?
I sign my works as “KSELEQOQYNQYSHY”, which is like a coded name (tag) for “Casele Cu Ochi Închiși”, that in romanian language means “The Houses With Eyes Closed”.
From this concept, I have built my visual story. “The Houses With The Eyes Closed” speaks about the awakening and they are with the eyes closed, because they are in a deep meditation.
What do you want this chair design to tell people?
With this design I would like to offer a sense of calm and blissfulness. I would also like to make people dive in the visual story.
How or where do you want this chair used or to be placed?
I would like the chair to be treated as a functional object and also as a work of art.
