Our biggest flex from last year had to be the successful Footshop x adidas collaboration – the Superstar “Blueprinting”. Now, Footshop’s historically first collab with the Three Stripes is coming to life in the form of a LEGO set, which will be available at our stores and online from the 1st of September. If you want to find out what makes this project unique, keep reading, the reasons also make it an ideal part of Footshop’s 10th anniversary party.

So what makes this sneaker so unique? First of all, we’re witnessing the first time in history when a LEGO set immortalizes an existing sneaker collab – to mark the 50th anniversary of the more than 50-year-old adidas Superstar silhouette. And LEGO’s collector sets have been a part of Footshop’s portfolio for a while now, so it only makes sense to have them in stock.

With every LEGO adidas Superstar set you buy at Footshop, you get an extra pack with 243 parts and several stickers to make the replica as similar to the original as possible. With them, you can give the original model into a detailed reproduction of Footshop’s take on the silhouette – and with the enclosed instructions, it’ll be a walk through the park.

“We’re proud to be able to recreate a silhouette we’ve worked hard on with adidas in LEGO. For us, it’s a way of coming full circle and we can’t wait for the sets to be featured in our stores in original LEGO packaging,” says Footshop’s founder Peti Hajduček.

The special edition of the set is limited to 200 pieces in a 1:1 ratio for 94€.

On our YouTube channel, you can also find an interview with the author of the Footshop x adidas Superstar “Blueprinting” LEGO version, Radovan Pekárek, who was questioned by the creator of the original collab, Peter Kovo Kováč. How are LEGO sets designed and what challenges do their architects face? Enjoy this face to face conversation between two designers.

You can find the LEGO version of our sneakers online and in stores from September 1st, so make sure you get a chance to cop!
