This part of the On Feet series will be a bit different. Usually, you’ll find the most anticipated releases of the week here, captured by Petr ‘Kovo’ Kováč – these sneakers are, for the most part, backed by hype. The problem is that seeing all these pairs of cool sneakers is spoiled by not being able to buy them anymore, as they’re sold out – or they just remind you of your last unsuccessful attempt at winning the raffle. So today, I’ll instead be writing about three sneakers that are readily available and fully stocked on our website. So strap in and find out why these sneakers deserve the title of the week’s best releases.

NEW BALANCE 997

I wanted to find out what New Balance themselves have to say about their most classic model of all time – “perfect for everyday wear” – and I can personally attest to that. These aren’t just sneakers for running, partying or hiking. With one pair of the 997’s you can do all of that and more. I know it sounds like a cliché, but try them and figure out for yourself. You can get the peach colorway by clicking here, and by clicking on the black button under the photos, you can discover another 14 colorways.

NIKE AIR MAX STRUCTURE

This March, for the model’s 30th birthday, the Nike Air Structure returned in spectacular fashion. I’ve already written about this, bringing up the successful fusion of retro and modern elements that’s common in the sneaker world nowadays – but the execution sometimes misses. That definitely wasn’t the case with the ‘Hyper Pink’ colorway which drops in women’s sizing on May 15th. Mark your calendar to make sure you don’t miss out on these summer sneakers.

NEW BALANCE 1500 MADE IN ENGLAND

New Balance is a classic that I would honestly like to see more of at Footshop. So I’m glad that now you can find the sports themed 1500 Made in England model on our website. And yes, as the name suggests, this model was born in the town of Flimby, in north-eastern England, which sets it apart from most of New Balance’s portfolio. The sneakers are made from the highest quality materials, as you can feel at first touch. Your comfort will be taken care of courtesy of the special ENCAP technology-utilising midsole. And they’re online right now.

If you’re finished with reading this post, I recommend checking out the last episode of the On Feet series, where you’ll find sneakers that are a bit more hype-oriented.
